Overview

Over more than three decades of practice, Kalos Art Conservation has worked across museums, historic monuments, private collections, galleries, and studios throughout Europe, the United States, and other countries. The work spans Old Master paintings, modern and contemporary art, and large-scale wall painting conservation — from oil and gauche to acrylic, mixed media, and architecturally integrated frescoes.

Each project begins with close material study and analytical examination, guided by a rigorous understanding of art history. Whether stabilizing fragile paint layers, reducing aged varnish, consolidating plaster, or collaborating with living artists, our approach is rooted in ethical responsibility, reversibility, and respect for artistic intention.

The portfolio below represents a selection of institutional, ecclesiastical, architectural, and private commissions of different period and style unified by a commitment to preserving cultural heritage for future generations.
